JD Edwards' services include:

Classroom Training

A "hands-on" case-oriented introduction to JDE software applications is given to your personnel at one of JDE's many training facilities worldwide. Here your people gain invaluable insights from JDE instructors, as well as from their fellow students. Training at your offices is also available.

On-Site Consulting

The mission of JDE's area offices is to put together a client services team to work effectively with your people and to get you up and running as quickly as possible.

Telephone Support Line

Answers to specific questions are available via the JDE Response Line. The Response Line is staffed by trained JDE consultants knowledgeable about JDE software applications. It is a talented resource pool you can depend on for timely, helpful answers to your questions.

Periodic Software Updates

Benefit from the latest software enhancements offered in regular updates to JDE applications.

Account Management

Account managers assist large multi-site or multi-national clients to attain effective business solutions with JDE software and services. The primary focus of JDE account managers is to provide the leadership, planning, and support resources necessary to achieve a successful implementation. The account manager acts as the single point of communication and coordination for clients during projects. To best serve the special needs of large clients, the account management team is committed to the extensive travel sometimes required in large-scale implementations.

Custom Programming

JDE realizes you may need specialized software that is integrated with JDE systems. Significant modifications can be made to your JDE software - including new modules - to adapt to your specialized operational environment. JDE custom programmers can accomplish this for you. Their expertise is your assurance that modifications adhere to JDE software's CASE architectural integrity, so that future JDE software enhancements can be easily integrated into your data processing system.

User Groups

You'll have many opportunities to share information with fellow JDE users through your participation in both regional and industry specific JDE user groups in your area. In addition, your attendance at the annual JDE International User Group conference will keep you apprised of new software innovations and afford you the privilege of contributing to the focus of future JDE product enhancements and developments.

Nowhere is the concept of partnership more evident than in JDE's high quality, time-tested Implementation Methodology. JDE understands that new technology does not reach full potential until effective implementation is achieved. As a result, JDE's Implementation Methodology is as finely crafted as the AS/400 software they design - crafted for top performance and your peace of mind.

At the onset, the JDE team and your team meet to agree on expectations. The project management requirements of your implementation are reviewed and the level of JDE client services involvement is determined.

Your implementation team and the JDE client services team - working together as a Project Team - will implement your software applications in nine phases, each step supported with its own guidelines and objectives.
